St. HOPE is excited to announce MLB All-Star Barry Bonds as the special guest speaker for the 2018 St. HOPE Dinner to be held on Sunday, September 23 at the Hyatt Regency downtown. The St. HOPE Dinner attracts a sellout crowd of 1,000 guests and has included speakers such as Michael Jordan, LeBron James, John Wooden, Shaquille O’Neal, Chris Webber and many more!

Recognized as one of baseball’s greatest players, Bonds holds Major League Baseball’s all-time career records in home runs (762) and walks (2,558).  During his illustrious 22-year career with both the Pittsburgh Pirates and San Francisco Giants, he was awarded the National League MVP seven times, the gold glove eight times, and selected to the All-Star game 14 times.

The benefit dinner is St. HOPE’s major fundraising event of the year and provides an opportunity to highlight St. HOPE’s services of public education and economic development in the Oak Park community.
