Meal Accounts

St. HOPE provides families with the ability to establish meals accounts for the convenience of pre-paying for student meals.

Online Management

Families can set up an account, monitor their students’ daily transactions and balances, and set up low-balance alerts for free via MealTime. You can also make debit or credit-card payments with a small transaction fee.

  • Create a MealTime Online profile: Click on the “Create new profile” link and enter a Username and Password that you will use to login to MealTime Online. The Username and Password must be at least 6 characters. For example, Username: jsmith Password: pty845.
  • Login to your MealTime Online Account:  Using the Username and Password that you created.
  • Student Information Required: You will need to enter your student’s first name and St. HOPE Public Schools ID number.
  • For Deposits, Add Your Student: Click the Meal Account Deposit button. Click the Add Student link to add your student using the Student Information above.
  • Make a Deposit:  Click on the “Make Deposit” link to make a deposit into a school account. There is a transaction fee for making deposits. Click on the “View Details” link next to your student’s name to view their cafeteria account balance and purchase history.
In-Person Payments

Families can bring cash or check to the cafeteria before 2 p.m. on school days. You can also opt to send cash or check to school with a responsible student. The cashier will ask the student if they would like a receipt when the deposit is made.

Account Statements

Students with zero or negative balances receive account statements at least bi-weekly, via communication folders or advisory. Families can also sign up online to receive automatic alerts when their students’ balances get low.

Charging Meals

We strongly discourage meal charges, but understand that an occasional emergency may make it necessary. In the event a student’s account does not have sufficient funds to cover their meals, they will not be denied food. At the school’s discretion, an alternative meal may be provided until the account is fully funded.

Free and Reduced-Price Meals

Families are encouraged to apply for the Free and Reduced-Price Meals Program, which may allow free or reduced meal prices for students. You can use the same MealTime account to manage meal accounts and to apply online for free and reduced-price meals. You can also contact the front office at your student’s school for more information about how to apply for the program.
