1. How long have you been with St. HOPE?

Since 2005 I attended Sac High as a freshmen and graduated senior year in 2009. I taught at Sac High from fall 2013 to now.

2. What is your commitment to urban education and why have you chose to work at SHPS?

Sac High provided me opportunities to get full ride scholarships to many prestigious institutions. I am grateful and am currently giving back to the community by teaching math here.

3. What are your greatest highlights in working in education?

Seeing my students grow and graduate to be amazing and ambitious scholars. They are talented and funny individuals that deserve a great future.

4. What book ( fiction or non-fiction) has influenced you the most?

I think the book that has influenced me the most is The Alchemist. There are still many things I’d like to do to make the world a better place.
