THE PLAY

TRIGGER will touch on the historical and generation trauma that young people of color face while growing up in unserved and underserved communities. It will address the link between adverse childhood experiences and chronic health and social disparities that we all face when growing up with trauma.

TRIGGER follows 7 young adults through a journey of discovery and healing.  The play dives into the early childhood adversities and generational trauma that each of them have experienced. When they are required to attend a self-care group that challenges their belief in a world they feel has forgotten them they soon realize that they all have something in common.
