Sac High: Beyond the Classroom: Activities

Overview

Activities

Sac High is a vibrant, active campus teeming with scholars who are always “on the go” and walking with a sense of purpose and pride.  There is no wasted time and no idle bodies as we work to prepare our scholars for college and life beyond. Dragons understand that they must utilize every moment of their days productively engaged in academics or worthy extra-curricular activities. We aim for Sac High scholars to be well-rounded and excellent candidates for the most competitive colleges and universities across the country.  Therefore, we have specific requirements that scholars engage in a variety of extra-curricular activities throughout their four years at the school.

SHPS prohibits discrimination, harassment, intimidation, and bullying on the basis of a student’s actual or perceived age, ancestry, ethnicity, actual or potential parental, pregnancy, family or marital status that treats students differently on the basis of sex, lactation status, housing or homeless status, color, mental or physical disability, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sex, sexual orientation, genetic information,  immigration status, medical information, nationality, race, religion, or association with a person or a group with one or more of these actual or perceived characteristics. This applies to all acts related to school activity or school attendance within SHPS.

This is a great opportunity for scholars to receive homework help, engage with their peers, join clubs, and earn community service hours. Dragon Academy takes place every single day after school!
