Principal, Sacramento High School
Michelle Seijas currently serves as the Principal of Sac High. She started her career as an elementary school teacher and later entered administration as an elementary school Vice Principal. After two years she was recruited for an opportunity to be the District Coordinator of Interventions and Enrichment programs. During these years she spent significant time working with the high schools and middle schools in the district. While she was passionate about the work supporting the top achievers and struggling learners throughout the district, she missed working directly with students. She then returned to her passion of being on a school campus as the Vice Principal of Woodland High School and three years ago became their Principal. Michelle received her BA at UC Davis in Spanish with a minor in Education, earned a Multiple Subject teaching credential from the CSU, Sacramento Bilingual Multicultural Credential program, and then finished a Masters in Educational Leadership along with an Administrative Services Credential. Michelle completed her Doctorate in Educational Leadership this year from UC Davis.
