Jim Scheible
Assistant Principal


Jim Scheible grew up in the Curtis Park neighborhood of Sacramento and attended Christian Brothers High School before moving to San Diego for college. After graduation he taught for two years in the Bronx, NY through the Teach for America program and then returned to Sacramento in the summer of 2006 and began working at PS7. In his first year he taught 6th grade and the three years after that he was the lead teacher at PS7 middle for the 6th, 7th and 8th grades. In 2010-11 Jim served as principal of PS7 and then as the Superintendent of St. HOPE Public Schools from 2011-2014. He was the Principal of Sac High from 2014-2015 and served as the Chief Advancement Officer of St. HOPE Public Schools from 2015-2017.
