Scholars Rising: A Celebration of Purpose and Progress
President's Message - 06.11.25

Post

Yesterday was a fabulous celebration of our Sac High seniors as they received their diplomas and walked across the stage at Memorial Auditorium. Our scholars have worked so hard over the past four years and we are proud of all that they have accomplished as students, athletes, and as community members. At the graduation ceremony, we heard inspiring messages from Valedictorian Edie Park and Salutatorian Mariah Bowman about the importance of perseverance and resilience and how their focus on purpose and passion helped them get to where they are today. Sac High’s vision to send scholars to college came alive yesterday and we are proud that 97% of the Class of 2025 was accepted into four-year colleges!

We also celebrated the promotion of our kindergartners, 5th graders, and 8th graders this month. Each ceremony was filled with joy, pride, and a sense of accomplishment as scholars marked an important milestone in their academic journey. Families and teachers gathered to cheer them on, recognizing not only their academic progress but also their personal growth. From the tiny graduates moving up from kindergarten to the soon-to-be high schoolers finishing 8th grade, the celebrations were a heartfelt reminder of the power of community in helping every scholar thrive.

In community,
