Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. International Talent Hunt
For 73 years, the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. has sponsored
their International Talent Hunt Showcase. The program was started
to give high school students an opportunity to showcase their
talents in several different disciplines. Today, students
perform in vocal, instrumental, dance, spoken word, and visual
arts categories.
Epsilon Xi Chapter of the fraternity, located in Sacramento CA,
has been an active participant in the Talent Hunt program since
1978 when the chapter was chartered.
The 2019 Talent Hunt show will be held on April 13, 2019 @ 3:00
pm at the Guild Theater in Sacramento. Contestants must be in
high school at the time of the event. Audition files will be
previewed and finalist will be chosen to perform in the show.
Awards will be distributed as follows:
First Place:
Trip to San Jose Ca. to perform in the District
competition (12 western states) May 18, 2019
Lodging provided for contestant and chaperone
$300 Award
Second Place: $200 Award
Third Place: $100 Award
